Farmland Preservation Plan - Task Force Meeting
The Farmland Preservation Plan Task Force will meet to update a Farmland Preservation Plan on behalf of the Madison County Board of Commissioners. The plan will provide recommendations for local policies, strategies, and tools designed to protect farmland and support agricultural opportunities throughout Madison County. This plan aims to ensure the county is proactively addressing growth and development pressures within unincorporated areas while preserving valuable agricultural assets, natural resources, and the rural character that defines much of the community. The public is welcome to attend and learn more about the planning process and the long-term vision for farmland preservation in Madison County.
